It’s been 9 months since we bought our first house, and it’s finally (almost) done!! Come by on August 5th and join us in breaking in our “new” house and giving Marc a hard time about entering his mid-thirties.
We’ll have lots of beer, lots of food, and later in the evening we’ll break in our new fire pit on the back patio.
Give either Jami or I a quick email to get the details and let us know if you think you might show up, we wouldn’t want to run out of beer! We’ll send out a reminder in a couple weeks to check back in if you aren’t sure yet. We’re looking forward to finally partying it up.
PS: This applies to you out-of-town folks to remind you to come visit us soon…
After spending much of the last year quite naked, the dirt that surrounds or humble abode is now wearing a nice new coat of new green grass. It is long and luscious and a huge family effort was put forth yesterday to arrange the damp green rolls upon the new layer of nice topsoil. The grass and the dirt underneath are very happy to finally meet and over the next few weeks Jami and I are going to spread some watery love over the two ensure it has a long, happy, and weed free relationship over the next bunch of years. I just love the “go” button on the sprinkler system.
Thanks to all the people that helped, our love goes out to you!
Easily one of the best and most competitive World Cup games I have watched yet. Both teams played very strong, and it was a very entertaining game to watch. It was also nice to see the referees actually let the two teams play as opposed to calling a foul every time two opposing players touched each other… (i.e. the Italy vs US game). Germany played a very good game and the German goalkeeper played outstanding! Alas, Italy finally connnected in the end and it’s off to the finals for them..
Go Italy!
